Das Buch ist ein Haufen unstrukturiertes Bla Blah und man könnte meinen, dass jemand seine Ideen ausgespeichert hat und ein anderer hat direkt mitgeschrieben, ohne dem ganzen noch einen roten Faden zu geben. Die Personas und die Stories, die darum im Buch gestrickt wurden, sind langweilig, nicht greifbar und fühlen sich komplett nach Nerds an. Die Beispiele sind ebenfalls konstruiert. Wer schon einmal agil gearbeitet hat und verschiedene Innovations- und Kreativitätstechniken kennt, wird das meiste in dem Buch aus dem praktischen Leben kennen.Das Buch taugt aufgrund seiner mangelnden Struktur keinesfalls als Playblook.
The best book on Design Thinking I have in my bookshelf. Lots of content to get the digital transformation started. The book was written by people who work on new market opportunities every day. However, Design Thinking and especially the mindset described in the Playbook complement traditional problem solving approaches. As a consultant I need to understand quickly the problem and the customer’s needs to be able to derive the right solutions. Design Thinking can be applied for innovation projects as described in many examples in the Playbook, but also to solve problems in general or optimize processes.Thanks to the authors for this great piece of work! The Design Thinking Playbook is a good tip and a great book recommendation!
Author did a great job in collecting all the tools from the IDEO's toolkit. I was not surprised at all. The overall reading experience was total chaos. The font is not readable too. I will not recommend to any one.
I don't usually write reviews, but I felt motivated to write one because I think "The Design Thinking Playbook" is an outstanding book on the subject. A friend of mine working at a big consultant company offered me this book.I see a lot of commonalities with how kids are learning, when we leave them on their own. Unfortunately at school we are losing this way of learning and solving problems more and more. The Design Thinking Playbook motivated me to try out new things and build prototypes with the kids and also using prototypes to improve lectures.The Design Thinking is not a receipe book, but the Playbook helps with tools to try out new ways of thinking and applying a new mindset. At school, in business or even for one’s private challenges.In a nutshell: Top presentation of the topic, modern and practical!
I can truly recommend this book- its contents as well as layout and style of writing are very pleasing and highly informative. You clearly see that the authors are experts in their respective fields. Overall one of my favourite books to work with at all!
Well written and structured compilation of (well-known) methods. But: definitly going one (or even two) steps further by adddressing ecossystems (-design) and - most importantly - introducing data analytics as enrichment to the qualitative nature of DT. As a DT practioner - Reserve a top spot in your bookshelve!
Das Buch hat wertvolle Inhalte, ich finde es aber leider sehr unübersichtlich. Daher die Empfehlung: für erfahrene Design Thinker absolut in Ordnung, für Einsteiger nicht zu empfehlen.
A clever book that you can use as an introduction to the method or for cherry-picking if you‘re already familiar with design thinking. Its structure and look & feel are extremely inviting.
